2010 Heritage Days Festival 

The dates for the 2010 Festival are Wednesday, June 30th thru Sunday, July 4th.  5K Race, Bench Press Contest and Parade are scheduled for Saturday July 3rd; Fireworks are scheduled for Sunday, July 4th.  The Kick-off Bingo in the park is scheduled for Sunday, June 27th.

This schedule is not final and is subject to additions, deletions and changes without prior notice by the Ford City Area Heritage Days Committee.  Ford City Area Heritage Days is Handicap Accessible and Handicap Parking will be available.  Ford City Borough Ordinance prohibits dogs  in the park unless necessary for ADA assistance.

  • 6:00 PM Opening Day Ceremonies (Honoring our Veterans)

  • 9 AM 5K Walk/Run

$10 Fall Big Ticket Sale

Winning number based on 7 PM PA lottery number drawing.  Ticket runs from  December 1st thru December 31st... $10 donation.  Call Ford City Heritage Days at 724-763-1617 or any committee member  for tickets.

Kick-Off Bingo

June 27th, Ford City Boro Park, 1:00 PM.  (Additional information will be available soon)   

5K Walk/Run

Race entry forms  and additional information can be obtained by calling Jim Solak, Race Director  at 724-763-3986. Download entry forms from Race page.

Parade Route

Starts on 5th Avenue at 11th Street to 5th Street, west on 5th Street to 4th Avenue, then north past the Park, disbands at the Borough Building.  Judges stand located in front of the Post Office on 4th Avenue.

Polka Mass 2010 

THE POLKA MASS IS NO LONGER TENTATIVE!

Father Brian Summers of Christ Prince of Peace Church will celebrate Mass at the Gazabeo on Sunday, July 4 @ 12:30 PM. For your comfort, bring a lawn chair to sit back and participate in the Heritage Days Polka Mass.  After Mass, take a stroll through the park,  enjoy the many craft tents, and have lunch at any of the various food booths.
